Comment: The sub base in San Diego is near Ballast Point on Point Loma. The signs I have seen are clear about how restricted the area is. I can't imagine Pearl Harbor was any different, so whoever got these matches definitely belonged there. Someone in the Navy? Doing business with the Navy? I'm not sure I'll ever know.
