Comment: Too bad for the damage, I think this is supposed to be an image of side firing guns on the ship. Commissioned 1923, BB-45. Armed with eight 16-inch guns. Undergoing work at Puget Sound when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. Used for shore bombardment, and participated in the battle of Leyte Gulf. Was in Tokyo bay for the Japanese surrender. Decommissioned in 1947, she was not scrapped until 1959, so artifacts from the Colorado can be found in many museums and displays.
